Service Terms Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of CoreLogic's backend development services and website. By accessing our services or contacting us for development work, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before engaging with our services.
1. Service Usage Terms
1.1 Acceptable Use Policy
You may use our services for legitimate business purposes related to backend development, API creation, and database optimization. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful activities, to develop harmful software, or to create systems that violate intellectual property rights.
1.2 Service Access Requirements
To engage our services, you must provide accurate contact information, have the authority to enter into agreements, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials we provide.
1.3 Fair Usage Guidelines
Our support and consultation services are subject to reasonable usage limits. Excessive or abusive use of support resources may result in additional charges or service limitations. We reserve the right to define what constitutes reasonable usage based on industry standards.
2. Account and Project Management
2.1 Project Initiation
Backend development projects begin after mutual agreement on scope, timeline, and pricing. All project specifications will be documented in separate project agreements or statements of work that supplement these Terms of Service.
2.2 Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing necessary project requirements, timely feedback, access to required systems or accounts, and payment according to agreed schedules. Delays caused by lack of client input may result in project timeline adjustments.
2.3 Communication and Updates
We provide regular project updates through agreed communication channels. Response times for non-urgent inquiries are typically within one business day during standard working hours in Cyprus.
3. Service Availability and Modifications
3.1 Service Uptime and Maintenance
We strive to maintain high availability for systems we develop and manage. Planned maintenance will be scheduled during off-peak hours with advance notice when possible.
3.2 Feature Availability
Service features may vary based on the specific development package and project requirements. Custom features are available upon request and may require additional development time and costs.
3.3 Geographic Restrictions
Our services are primarily available to clients within the European Union, with particular expertise in Cyprus business requirements and regulations.
3.4 Service Modifications and Updates
We may modify our service offerings, update development methodologies, or enhance our technology stack to provide better solutions. Existing client projects will not be negatively affected by service updates, and we will communicate significant changes in advance.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Code Ownership
Upon full payment, clients receive ownership rights to custom code developed specifically for their projects. However, we retain rights to general methodologies, frameworks, and reusable components that do not contain client-specific intellectual property.
4.2 Third-Party Components
Projects may include open-source libraries and third-party components subject to their respective licenses. We ensure all third-party components are properly licensed and documented.
4.3 Portfolio and Marketing Rights
We may use non-confidential aspects of completed projects for portfolio purposes and marketing materials, unless specifically restricted by confidentiality agreements. Client names and sensitive details will not be disclosed without permission.
5. Payment and Billing Terms
Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements. Generally, we require a deposit before project commencement, with the remainder due upon completion. Late payments may incur additional charges as permitted by Cyprus law.
All prices are quoted in Euros and exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We accept bank transfers and major payment methods as specified in project agreements.
6. Support and Warranty
We provide technical support for systems we develop according to agreed support terms. Basic bug fixes are typically covered for 30 days after project delivery. Extended support and maintenance agreements are available separately.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Cyprus law.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate ongoing projects with written notice according to terms specified in individual project agreements. Completed work and partial payments will be handled according to the termination provisions in those agreements.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by Cyprus law. Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation first, and if necessary, through arbitration or the courts of Cyprus. We encourage open communication to resolve any issues promptly.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Existing client projects will continue under the terms in effect when the project began, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
